The trust has started
a Self-Development Centre in Village Ganj, P.O.
EKMA, Dist Saran, Bihar.
The Self-Development building has a career fair
open, throughout the year to guide the rural
students who otherwise remain oblivious to opportunities
open other than the traditional jobs. Vocational
courses like tailoring, etc. are conduced regularly
To educate and empower women of the society
the trust has started a primary school for girls,
Which will be a upgraded to secondary school
level eventually. The leaders of Tomorrow
Project has been undertaken in the village.
This a novel experiment in introducing HRD in
rural areas.
Our Progress
The
Self-Development Centre in Village Ganj P.O.
EKMA, Distt. Saran, Bihar is fully operational.
The primary school started at this centre is
working very well. Local Leadership has been
developed for the success of such initiatives.
A committed leadership
can produce results. We have already have strength
of 100 students.
A career exhibition has also been started in
this centre. Recently a computer has been donated
to the Centre by Grid Consultants Pvt. Ltd.
A teacher is undergoing training in computers.
When trained she will teach computer language
to school children. This will be landmark day
for the Centre.
Encouraged by the success of the primary school,
the foundation stone of a Girls Technical High
School was laid in October 2000. Such an institution
will make a difference not only to this village
but also to other surrounding villages. The
filling of land has been completed.
Construction work is expected to start in February
2002. Our commitment to rural development continues.
