Career Summary

Research Scholar with 20 years of Professional Experience in Teaching, Training & Consulting, in Human Behaviour and Organisation Development.

Having consulted and trained some of the Industry Leaders & Fortune 500 companies in India, decided to pursue management research in the area of ’Leadership’. Have been a faculty of HR & OD in various MBA programs across India.

Professional Experience

Full time Faculty @ SOIL – May,2009 till June,2010

Taught courses at SOIL in HR & Leadership related subjects.

As the first faculty to join this start up B school , contributed in the institution building and shaping up of academic and administrative processes from admissions through placements.

Researcher (Doctoral Fellow , MDI ) – 2004 – 2008

Thesis ’Gender and Leadership orientation’ – A mixed method study of two large multi national organizations – one of Indian origin and the other a US MNC. Gender interpreted as masculinity and femininity in both men and women .

Research interests include ’Leadership’, ’Gender’ and ’Qualitative research methodologies’ .

  • Designed and delivered various Human Resources & Industrial Relations initiatives including developmental activities like training, mentoring and counseling.
  • Designed the "Employee Development Card" for the Division, in 1994, which is similar to the "Balance Scorecard", conceptually, well before BSC was introduced by Dave Ulrich
